My experience with Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White

I was finally able to review this dining experience first hand!
I am so glad I can share my experience!

Is it worth it? YES
Is it worth a dining credit? DEFINITELY (it is only 1 credit for now)
Would I do it again? ABSOLUTELY

The dining location is at Disney's Wilderness Lodge resort. Great place to either dine on a 'rest' day or if touring Magic Kingdom park. From Magic Kingdom, it is boat ride over. The boat ride could take up to 45 minutes (usually at the most) depending on boat timing and getting to the docks. It could be as little as 20 min with perfect timing.

Nestled in the back left of Lobby area.
When we arrived to check in, we were told they were running behind but they called us back fairly quickly. We were seating by the window overlooking the Resort's gorgeous pool.

This dining experience is only for dinner which starts at 4pm. This is a pre-fixe menu with a set price of $55.00 per adult and $33.00 per child (3-9)

Of course if using the Dining plan, you can get a complimentary alcoholic beverage!!! Definitely another perk on using the dining plan!

The dining room has been made over with trees branches sprawling in the beams over head and special lighting to give an outdoor feel. It is very pretty!

Snow White, Dopey and Grumpy come around to each table for pictures and autographs! They do take breaks and periodically will dance around the room where the kids can join them.
After dinner, you are led to meet the Evil Queen with a special backdrop of her lair. She NEVER breaks character! She is pretty cool but could be intimidating to small kids.

We took group pictures and individual ones!
We all decided to 'Disney Bound' this trip. Dressing in same colors as the characters.

This is really the only place to meet Dopey, Grumpy and Evil Queen outside the special holiday parties. It is also the only place to obtain their autograph!

The Food:
It was good. It was not special but it was enjoyable.

I love the fact we were provided small servings of each appetizer and dessert!

I also loved how all the food was presented. They had an adorable lazy Susan made of a tree with 3 tiers they plates sat upon.

Appetizers:
I absolutely LOVED the Squash Bisque. Hunter's Pie was okay. Wicked Shrimp was also ok. Those two were not spectacular to me.

The Entrees:
I chose the Prime Rib Roast. It was very good and I absolutely loved the horseradish mashed potato.

The Desserts:
So each of these were so fabulous. All just almost too cute to eat, almost!!!
It was wonderful we each received one of the desserts to enjoy! This is such a great deal, when it is normally so hard to choose which awesome dessert you may want and with this, you get it all.

The BAD:
The wait staff rushed. I never felt we were behind in being served. It seemed all was running as it should but the staff was rushing which gave the impression everything was 'late'?? They were not friendly but not rude so I could not complain. It just was not the 'Disney expectation'.

I felt we had quality time with each character.

Funniest or oddest part of the experience which should have been the piece de resistance was the Huntsman Box.
The box is hand presented in a glass box with dry ice for the smoke effects. As we are oohing and aahing over this, the waiter just dumps the contents of the box contents onto the plate and walks off. I could not help but laugh. There were the chocolates just dumped in a mess on the plate. mmmm. okayyyy.
