Quick Service and Saving money

Image
You can find some great quick service dining information on the web but make sure you are getting accurate information. I love browsing many Disney Sites and I advise all to do so! It helps in gaining different perspectives on what to expect for your own travel. Sometimes, many sites can have misleading information. Reading multiple sites can help filter through some of it. Also!!!  Always use your Travel agent to get the facts! If you come across something and have doubts or want more info on it, ask for their research/knowledge!  This post is mainly regarding Disney Quick Service Dining & making most of it.  One thing I saw on a very popular blog post was how to save money when ordering Quick Service. ' 'you can save money if you order a quick service meal entree only and take off the sides '' ~this was made to sound like it was a nice saving.  What they were saying; when you see a platter offering, you can usually just order the entree and remove

Disney Special Event Tickets

Image
So we all know that the Mickey's Special event tickets were released about a month ago for the Halloween & Christmas Parties via calling in or having your agent call in for you! They are now released to purchase online. The big deal about this is, NOW the Pass holders can get their discounts on the party tickets (select nights)! If you have not purchase your tickets yet, I recommend doing so in advance to get the extra discount by pre-booking. Tickets are more expensive at the gate and have been known to sell out. If you have an agent, let them do this leg work for you!  I know many people wonder if the parties are worth it, It is understandable. I will say that they are completely worth it. There is a special extra magic in them. Special foods & merchandise are available only through the parties. Dance parties (with characters), Fun shows and parades, special lighting and free treats!! Beware: A Tangent is coming!!! Believe it or not but they are less crowded than

1900 Park Fare Dinner Dining review by dealing with disney

1900 Park Fare located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort They offer Breakfast Character buffet dining as well as Dinner Character Buffet Dining! (1 credit each with the Disney Dining Plan) Different Characters for breakfast & Dinner! Ok, back to my review!  I love their breakfast buffet:  Characters M&Gs are Alice, Mad Hatter, Tigger & Pooh! Buffet offerings are always super yummy & plentiful. Dinner is also great! Dinner starts at 4:30pm. If you arrive early (around 3:45pm) You will get to see the Princess Promenade offered at the Grand Floridian. Cinderella & Prince Charming will lead little princesses & princes from the back (near orchestra) over to & down staircase to the main lobby where they will dance.  It is SO sweet. Dinner: The characters are Cinderella, Prince Charming and this other part can vary. It is 90% of the time Lady Tremaine, Anastasia & Drizella. However, they have been know to be substituted by the Fairy Godmother

Caribbean Beach Resort review and Pirate Room review! I have stayed at Caribbean Beach previously but needed first hand experience on the pirate rooms! I must say, I do love the theming. They spared no detail as expected. My little one at first was not keen on the large pirate flag looking curtain that separated room from bathroom/vanity area. I had to push to side but eventually she started calling me Captain Mom and I had to call her Captain Myla! Fun! I did put in a room request but did not receive any part of my request which is how it goes sometimes. I requested a room closest as possible to Main pool and a bottom floor(this resort has no elevator). I received a top floor in the furthest out building. I survived! Even though we were further out in our building, the walk to the bus stop was very short. All the rooms have gone through their refurbishment. The main construction is still on their food court & Main hub/market area (Centertown). They are also building a tow
