Disney Special Event Tickets

So we all know that the Mickey's Special event tickets were released about a month ago for the Halloween & Christmas Parties via calling in or having your agent call in for you!

They are now released to purchase online. The big deal about this is, NOW the Pass holders can get their discounts on the party tickets (select nights)!

If you have not purchase your tickets yet, I recommend doing so in advance to get the extra discount by pre-booking. Tickets are more expensive at the gate and have been known to sell out.
If you have an agent, let them do this leg work for you! 

 I know many people wonder if the parties are worth it, It is understandable. I will say that they are completely worth it. There is a special extra magic in them. Special foods & merchandise are available only through the parties.
Dance parties (with characters), Fun shows and parades, special lighting and free treats!!
Beware: A Tangent is coming!!! Believe it or not but they are less crowded than normal days. This saying can be very deceptive to guests who don't have an understanding of what this means. One's perception of less crowded and another's can vary greatly. For some one who goes often and understands the true crowd levels/fluctuations, how they can range and what they look like one day can seem less crowded or more crowded than another. If you have a guest coming in that has never been, they are told the parks have a low crowd expectation, they could develop a false expectation since they have nothing to base it on. In saying this, even though it can have a smaller crowd than one day, it can still seem crowded. **Make sure to have the right mindset and a plan, you should always be good in your experience.

The other BIG Deal to this is that the other special event tickets have also been released for purchase like the Disney H2O Glow night at Tyhpoon Lagoon! 
FUN! Pass holders can get a discount on these as well! Every Penny helps!

I have water park tickets already BUT I may have to snag these because it looks SO fun!

Always get your agent to help you if you don't want to fool with it! That is what they are there for!

Let me tell you a little bit about the H2O party tickets though!

They are available from June 21 to August 11, 2018 on Thursday and Saturdays only.
Hours for party are 7pm to 11pm (5 hours)

This is a special event ticket so your Hopper Plus tickets will not be a valid admission for this event.

Enjoy the water parks without a possible sunburn! Major bonus!
Lower crowds
Glow in the dark wristband
Adult only area~(The Wharf) Featuring a bar and good treats!
Unique Food & Souvenirs available for purchase
Special Character experiences including; Buzz, Woody & Jessie. Rex is hosting the event!
Dj Dance Party on the sandy beach of main surf pool
Special light decor will be up!

Cons:

Cost: $55 adult & $50 child(3-9)
However, if you already are going to water during your stay, I would encourage you to pay the slight difference to enjoy the special perks of this event!
Pass holder rater: $49 adult & $44 child(3-9)

Even if you don't buy the Special event water Park ticket, I do strongly encourage a day at one of the Water parks! Both are SO fun!

virtual Run Disney review from Dealing with Disney

I decided to finally see what the virtual Disney Runs were all about. A friend of mine told me she signed up. She wanted to keep her momentum going which inspired me to look into as well. I have learned to love the Run Disney events. It appears they offer seasonal Virtual events options from the Run Disney website. (see link HERE ) There were 3 races available to choose from or a full circuit registration containing all 3 races. This came with a bonus medal as well.  Each event was $45.00 and the combined package was $145.00. This was more $$ obviously but ok, I can see they have added in the cost of the extra medal you earn. What does this get me or should I say, what do I get out of this event? I can see the Disney love of just doing it for Disney,  doing it for the medal or doing it to keep momentum of working towards goals. Walt Disney World Halloween 2020 re-opening experiences by Dealing with Disney

My review from my latest Disney world experience.   This trip was definitely not one of my favorites! Before you read all my cons.. .Keep  in mind, I still enjoyed this trip.  The main point of this is to have proper expectation for your needs/stay. If you go into a park without proper expectation, it can really throw your trip OFF!  We had some great moments. We had some rest spots - drinks - treats which were nice.   One amazing PLUS: The security checks are a breeze now! No lie.. their big concern are umbrellas and water bottles (metal ones) tend to set off the machines. They ask for those to be pulled out of back packs but all other items you can walk through with!  I loved still having the time to appreciate the little things in the park that we take for granted. The craftsmanship in all the art around the park/architecture , the plant life every where!   I will be honest, part of the reason was due to my own family! Hey, I always like to keep It real-in perspective we shall say.
