The Garden Grill 2020 experience

I have always loved the Garden Grill restaurant located in EPCOT.

The food has NEVER disappointed.

The rotating dining room is such a peaceful addition to your setting.

One care barely tell it rotates, it is so slow.

I am pretty positive it takes a full hour to make a full rotation

As it rotates you can get some over view of the Living with the Land Attraction which I absolutely love.

Many of the fresh garden items are harvested directly from that garden (Living with the Land Attraction) .

They serve breakfast lunch and dinner but currently it is only lunch and dinner. Hopefully full operations will be back up and running.

Garden Grill is a set menu all you can eat family style meal. This location offers characters; Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale however they are not interacting right now. They do walk around but at a distance.

You can take pictures that look as if they are photo bombing you.

I pray they get back to regular operations where we can get hugs again and a more personal style experience with the characters.

Being a set meal, there are not too many options for the picky eaters. My little one is extremely picky and would only eat the gold fish crackers and corn. My waiter went out of her way to grab the gold fish crackers that were only available at the quick service counter close by and a huge plate of corn for her.

To me, the meals have always been perfect. Everything has amazing seasoning and cooked to perfection.

Here are some of the food items one can expect:

Garden salad, Grilled Beef, Mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Herb and Leek Stuffing, Mac & Cheese, sliced turkey breast and a yummy Berry Short cake for dessert.

While the character Dining is not the full experience the cost has been very slightly reduced.
The prices (depending on time of day and season) can range from $35 to $60.00 per person.

Yes, a family of 4 could be a $200.00 + meal. (not including tip)

The Negatives:

Not many really. It is the set menu. The only negative I could say is the animatronic dog barking or the rooster crowing in the background when you are near the farm house on the rotation. I am 'OK' with it but I can see how it may grate some nerves.

The price is too high. It is Disney so NOT too surprising or out of the norms for their average cost.
