Disney's Contemporary Resort Review

Image
My Review of Disney Contemporary Resort.   We stayed in the Tower with a Bay lake view. I requested higher floor and it did not disappoint.   I woke up early one morning and as much as I tried, I could not go back to bed so I ended up watching the sun Rise. I wish I had done a time lapse after I realized my attempts to sleep were futile.   The room was very spacious and comfortable. It was not too far from the elevators either (something to consider when entering a room request).   Despite how busy the interior of the resort can be with the Monorail station, the open dining of Chef Mickey & ContemptCafe, The interior of the rooms were quiet. I had no issue with outside noise.   These rooms come with a keurig coffee makers. Stocked with tea and coffee K cups.   Ceramic Mugs were as well as plastic cups.   The Mugs were kind of dirty.   Mini fridge is also available in room.   Microwave available at quick service Dining location.   The room was extremely comfortable. The experience

The Gaylord Opryland Resort

The Gaylord Opryland Resort!   I loved my trip here. The hotels by Gaylord are just absolutely beautiful. I was there(Nashville location) during the holidays which made it just fabulous! The resorts they have across the states are expanse! It is almost like their own little communities. Great restaurants and stores available inside the resorts.  We had a balcony facing into one of the atriums which was so relaxing to sit at. We could people watch, enjoy the ambiance and not have to worry about bugs! The resort offers free shuttle service for it's guests to Opry Mills Mall, airport and the Grand Ole Opry House. You could walk but depending on the weather & your company --the shuttle is a nice service option. The shuttle was a large clean bus which came fairly often.  We took advantage of this, shuttled over the the Original Grand Ole' Opry house to see the Rockettes! The Christmas Spirit was really felt during this trip! Within the resort, the Delta atrium, you cou

Up to 3 complimentary car seats are available per trip What’s the deal with the Minnie Van? I will admit, I have used them quite a few times and thoroughly enjoy the splurge~ It was great, super easy to use and can be very convenient.   The Minnie Van is run through Lyft. So you would need the APP for Lyft on your phone.   Before you can request a Minnie Van service, you will need to have your resort register you as being a guest. They do this by entering your phone number into their system. Once complete, you can now have the Minnie Van as an option for transportation.   Woohoo. That was easy.   Now the trick, when is it worth it????   $25.00 per ride. Can hold up to 6 guests in car. It held us(party of 5), our stroller and we used a car seat t

The Boats of Walt Disney World

Image
Launcher Let's talk about dealing with Disney Boats! Not the cruises but all the boat options available at Walt Disney World.   Never underestimate the convenience of using Disney's Boats for transportation. They usually cycle 15-20 minutes similar to busses. Never crowded that I have witnessed.   These are the resorts that offer Boat transportations to Magic Kingdom Wilderness Lodge Fort Wilderness Polynesian Grand Floridian One thing I have always loved when staying at these resorts after leaving a park is seeing the short distance to the boat docks without hardly a line then and just sitting, relaxing as we ride through the calm waters.   These are the resorts that offer Boat Transportation to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios Boardwalk Inn Yacht Club Beach Club Swan & Dolphin Motor Launches: Smallest of the Boat Fleet services. Strollers/wheelchairs must be folder up and carried onboard. ECV CANNOT be accommodated on these fleets which is something to con
