The Void experience review by Dealing with Disney

Image
The VOID ? What is it? Where is it? How does it work? I had to find out first hand to see exactly what this was all about and I was NOT disappointed. It became the highlight of my most recent trip! WOW, seriously is all I can say! The Void, a new virtual reality experience located at Disney Springs (as well as some other major cities including ATL) in what used to be Once upon a Toy (a small part of the store is still there but mostly taken over by the Void-sad I know--in fact, they no longer have the Mr. Potato head station! ) Must be 10 & up to participate and over 48” height. I paid $29.95 for my last experience. This price can change. It will get you a 30 minute experience. Not too bad. You book it via a website, here is the link for tickets  ( The Void ) I highly recommend reserving in advance as well. They have a wide range of times available and do book up. Currently the experience is based around Star Wars. Slots typically become available 1-3 months out. Experience opti

DISNEY Aerophile available at Disney Springs by Dealing with Disney

Image
I checked another item of my D isney Goals   which is A erophile  available at D isney Springs   it’s an 8 minute hot-air balloon experience. It’s tethered and will only fly in safe weather conditions!!  It was pretty windy our day but was still within safety parameters!!  I hate heights but this was fine! It was great seeing the whole “world” , Disney’s anyway  it’s $20 per person which isn’t crazy especially for Disney type prices BUT you can always find them on Groupon for a deal as well!! Just keep in mind, this won’t operate in certain weather conditions so make sure to read the Groupon rules before purchasing!!! I can’t wait for my next new experience  # dealingwithdisney   And people ask why I always go down there. Please, I can always find new adventures! Of course, they do sell a picture if you choose. They will take one but they will also take one for you with your own camera!! We went early in the day and had no problem getting immediate availability.  Later

The Disney Dining Plan, value or no?

Image
Let's Talk Dining Plan:  I have read and written many times about the Disney Dining Plan.  It is one of the biggest debates when reviewing on social media; to add or not to add to a package? Let me first say, its value will always depend on the vacation desired and the guest. It can be great for some and not great for others.   One thing I have noticed when people work out the 'worth' of the plans is they never calculate the children.  After all, don't we (majority of the time) do it for the kids? Or kids at heart?! Majority~ I know, not always! Heck, I do it for myself many times!  When you have kids (under 10) and factor them into any of the 'dining plan' versus 'costs' equation, you always come out ahead! They help compensate the adult cost in savings many times especially with character dining experiences. Some say 'my kid doesn't eat anything' and that may be true. If you do character meals, you be pay regardless of what is e

Dealing with Disney and my experience with the Disney Early Morning Magic Fantasyland event offer

Image
I finally had a chance to firsthand experience the    Disney Early Morning Magic-Fatansyland Event offer. This is a ticketed event. At time of event, it was $89.99 PLUS a valid Day ticket. Ticket event is from 7:45am to 10am What does this cover? It provides early entrance (7:30am) check in, a buffet breakfast and free range to Fantasyland for about 1.25 hour prior to park opening. It is available most Sunday, Tuesday and Thursdays.. I had a hard time with justifying the cost on this. I keep going back and forth with it. I find the After Hour events more valuable, you do pay more for those but you get more hours with it. Here is what we did! Pretty much there was zero wait for each attraction. Some showed a posted wait time but it was never the time it said. 7:45am Rode 7 Dwarf Mine Train  8 pooh 8:06 Peter pan 8:11 small world   Time wise. This was a Mistake to ride. Takes longest. Mainly because the boarding-unboarding process is so slow. We had to wait for so
