Dealing with Disney

Sweet on You,  a fun and super adorable sweet shop available onboard Disney's Fantasy ship.  They have hours available posted right by their door.  The shop is located on Deck 11 right They open at 11:30am daily They are typically open till 10:00pm or 10:30pm but on Some nights they will open until 11:30pm They offer  Specialty flavors of Gelato  Specialty flavors of Ice cream with amazing flavors. You can taste them all by free samples, be careful though, they are super yummy and you may end up buying a scoop! You can also fill a candy bag with several choices of candies! Of course it is pricey but that should be a given on a Disney Cruise. $9.99 per lb and yes, I am a sucker and my kiddos got some. I had to have some excuse for also eating it!  Also available are specialty confectionary creations! These are always too delicious looking to even eat. We made it onboard! Whew!!! All the preparation and worry should dissipate now! It does for me! First things first! FOOD!  It is time for lunch. Typically one of the restaurants will be open for a table service meal or you can always go to Cabana's which is a full buffet. This is what we did! The Table service location was Animator's Palate and it had a limited menu that we were just not excited about.  Our room was NOW available (1:40pm). We went in to check it out! We were very happy with it! We met our Cabin Hostess who was amazing! You definitely get connected with the Dinner servers and your room host during a trip. Disney has a way of making you feel like you just gained a  new family member! Our host was Patrick. He was so sweet, made sure my daughter walked into an amazing towel display every night! Day 1 WHEN TO ARRIVE & WHAT TO EXPECT TO BOARD /  DCL western Caribbean Fantasy  I am going to talk about getting on the boat, boarding process and other tidbits I did carry very limited bags with me onto the boat. Many people will pack swim clothes to change into once onboard. I had no interest in going to the pools the first day. We had 7 days of water time ahead of us, I could  wait a few hours for our luggage to get to our room. (typical arrival time for luggage to cabin is between 4-5pm) Room is usually ready around 1-2pm. Our room was available at 1:40pm I did not want to lug around much. I kept the essentials with me; Meds, IDs, some cash, character autograph book and my phone. We stayed at a hotel the night prior to the cruise(highly recommended to do so). I placed the tags on my bags as soon as we were set to head to port. I kept my cruise book in my carry on. Fantasmic: Dessert Party & VIP viewing Experience Is it worth it? Yes and no! ok.. I am not the typical 'I LOVE everything Disney' and that's ok!!! I don't love the shows, Most people do! I enjoyed some Disney shows.  😬 I love 'corny' too, so I can't understand why I don't go 'ga-ga' about the shows?? One reason may be since my kids don't care about them. I can't get excited when I don't see the 'awe' on their face. This is exactly why Disney is so great! There is so many options that guests can choose what is preferential to them! You don't have to do what someone else prefers! Do your own thing! If you love the shows, you love desserts, you love getting a great viewing area ~then you will love the package offer!
