Let me tell you about the amazing Backstage Tales tour I had the pleasure to experience!   This tour is available at Animal Kingdom.   They only offer this one time a day starting at 7:30am.   Price is $90.00 per person plus a valid theme park ticket Annual Passholders do get a discount! Ages are for 12 & up The tour lasts 3 hours 45 minutes How I wish I could have taken pictures to share but it is strictly forbidden!!!!   Check in as at the Main Entrance of the park by Guest services This tour goes over the creation of Discovery Island as well as The tree of Life. Next it moves you behind the scenes for the remainder of the tour.   We went back to the Elephant House/caring area. They touched on their care and elephant facts. You get a much more deeper experience on the elephants than the Caring for Giants Tour which I also highly recommend.  They also hit on the other big animals such as the Rhinos! I greatly enjoyed Disney's   Wild Africa Trek   Tour!!   Located at Animal Kingdom. You check in directly next to Kilimanjaro Safari   queue if tour time is after park hours. If tour starts prior to park hours, check in at Guest services by Front gate.   The tour lasts 3 hours, comes with a light meal & provides two main guides along with other specialists that join in at different points. This provides so much more information regarding species. Q&As are provided.   Example. Learned they are trying to let nature happen with the rhinos. 3 females want nothing to do with 1 male. They sta y firm together constantly blocking all attempts. Right after we heard his story, the male went to them. They all got up,standing tight side by side. They took turns slightly Charging the male in a stance of defiance. After many scuffles the male gave up with a strong pout. He ran off. It was a sight to see!   $189.00-$249.00 per adult. This does not include the cost of your theme park

Always recommend a tour available Through Disney's tour options! We did the   ‘ caring for giants ’ Tour available at Animal Kingdom.   I greatly enjoyed it.   Cost is $30.00 per person and passholders receive a discount. This does not include the required admission entrance to the park.   Times are throughout the day with last one held at 4pm.   The tour lasts about an hour.   You check in near the entrance to Kilimanjaro Safari in a booth marked Animal Experiences.   For   our tour, it was only us. Two other people were supposed to be with us but they never checked in. I didn’t complain!!   We were led backstage into a private shuttle that took us to the elephant area. The driver gave us fun facts over all of the park & animals during the drive.   My thoughts on it.   I think   for   someone to fully enjoy it , you would really need to love elephants and learning information pertaining to them. Disney's Magic Kingdom, Hall of Presidents is pretty inspiring! I honestly had never taken the time to really sit through this attraction out of all my years of going to Disney! (insert GASP here) Maybe, I needed to finally hit an age to really appreciate it?? That sounds more shameful! haha I did enjoy it and have found myself going back in for an uplifting feeling of patriotism. It is exactly what I love about this country. To me, it represents the good in us all. There is some great info to be learned from it as well. I recommend one take the time to really read the displays around the holding room. Boutiques and Pirate Leagues! Want a little extra magic added for your kiddos during your magical vacations, get a makeover! I have thoroughly enjoyed each makeover experience we have had with Disney! The Characters also seem to interact more with a child made over! Just something I have noticed over the years! What are the makeovers? Magic Kingdom & Disney Springs of Walt Disney World offers Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique where your little one can get a princess Makeover package. They do have a Knight makeover as well for the young lads! Here they can get their nails made over, limited hair style options, a little makeup, a dress and more depending on the type of package you want to build up to. A Pirate League offers a pirate makeover! For the little girls, they can become a princess pirate or a mermaid option! They currently have an Uma package but is limited time. No dates provided.
