Strollers with park touring

Image
Strollers!! Such a debate, but should it be? You know your kids better than anyone.   Ask yourself these questions; Does my kid whine about walking? Do I want to hold my kid at the end of a long day When they collapse from exhaustion? I say, GET THE STROLLER!!! The hassles of dealing with the stroller are nothing compared to the hassles of not having one.   Majority of kids are out of a stroller in everyday life by 3 or 4. At Disney, it is not uncommon to see kids in strollers at 7 & up.   I don't judge and no one else should either.   Don't get me wrong, it is liberating when they reach the age of not needing one! Oh yes, I look forward to my last one reaching that point.   If you really want to try a day without, go for it.   If you find yourself really needing one, just run up to the front of the park and rent one. typically they are still available but keep in mind they can rent out of availability.   I usually rent from Kingdom Strollers. They are just so much easier t

Some Castaway Cay Fun

Our adventures on Castaway Cay! This go around we signed up under Port Adventures for the Stingray Adventure   $52.00 10 & up $41.00 ages 5-9 1 hour total time All the rays have their barbs removed. It generally takes a few months for them to grow back.   We received a little orientation. Basically how to properly feed the stingrays, the history of their stingrays and what to expect.   After you feed them, you are free to snorkel around in designated area.   We geared up(mask, snorkel & vest float), read some of the fun facts on stingrays where we all meet up, had our orientation and then went to the feeding stations.   The rays are taught to come up on one side, go around and out the other end. They place mickey head symbols for them to know that will be where food is. The cast member hosting each station has a bucket of chum (squid parts, and other slimy things) that he will divvy out to each guest.   I greatly enjoyed this experience. I love feeling the rays

Royal Court Royal Tea on DCL

Royal Court Royal Tea on the DCL What is that?   Only the best experience you can imagine doing with your child onboard the Disney Cruise Ship! I was extremely hesitant due to cost but oh my was it worth it.   It is for children 3 to 12 to have  tea ,  royal   sweets and finger sandwiches. Your host is Lady Chamomile and Chef Brule who not only provide the treats but entertained with wonderful songs and cute humor. Their voices were amazing.   Three princesses will also come in to meet each child, sign an autograph and take a picture with.   At the end of the tea, you are led to have a photo op with all 3 princesses together. You will get this picture delivered to your stateroom later the same day. It is presented in a very nicely made album.   The finger foods were delectable as well as the desserts! The children are served a fruit punch while adults attending are served a tea   of their choice from their selection. It was really fun to see all the wait staff pour out o

Typhoon Lagoon

Time for Typhoon Lagoon water park review! I absolutely love the Disney Water Parks..   We had been going to Blizzard Beach mostly before and thought it was time to switch things up and enter Typhoon again. We were actually going to go to both but ended up staying all day at Typhoon! We had a blast! Have your agent tell you how to get tickets or arrange a day to plan at the water parks! See the tidal wave Mostly the hours are from 10am -8 pm.   They provide free Disney transportation from resorts to water parks HOWEVER, not directly typically. At times direct bus routes are offered but currently with the bus shortages going on it it not likely to have this.   Usually The Disney Springs resort will also offer the drop off at Typhoon Lagoon and the Animal Kingdom park Bus will offer the Blizzard Beach drop. Now, sometimes, you will have to exit the Animal Kingdom bus and then change busses to Blizzard. They always have bus signs to assist with how to get to where y
