Strollers with park touring

Strollers!!

Such a debate, but should it be?

You know your kids better than anyone.
Ask yourself these questions;
Does my kid whine about walking?
Do I want to hold my kid at the end of a long day When they collapse from exhaustion?

I say, GET THE STROLLER!!!

The hassles of dealing with the stroller are nothing compared to the hassles of not having one.

Majority of kids are out of a stroller in everyday life by 3 or 4. At Disney, it is not uncommon to see kids in strollers at 7 & up.
I don't judge and no one else should either.

Don't get me wrong, it is liberating when they reach the age of not needing one! Oh yes, I look forward to my last one reaching that point.

If you really want to try a day without, go for it.
If you find yourself really needing one, just run up to the front of the park and rent one. typically they are still available but keep in mind they can rent out of availability.

I usually rent from Kingdom Strollers. They are just so much easier to deal with and overall cheaper for length of stay. You will also have it entire length, meaning you have it not just at Disney parks but wherever you go. They deliver the stroller directly to your resort at the baggage desk. This is also where you return it. Stroller rental companies have been known to also book out during their busy seasons. Keep this in mind as well. Your travel agent can help you with rental needs. Make sure to utilize your agent in all aspects of your trip. I have only had one bad experience with Kingdom Stroller. I am sure if I had called them, they would have assisted. I thought I could get through it but it was a PAIN. Just a bad stroller.

The strollers fold up for all Disney transportation modes, easily fitting into the Minnie Vans as well.

I have dealt with the stroller haters, I know what we stroller people face. I have reached a point, I don't care. That will be their issue and not mine. If we all used common courtesy, anyway, we wouldn't have issues! lol

I do like the park strollers as well. They roll easy, easy for kids to get in and out of and don't topple easy.  Great for just a couple of days at the parks!

I am coming up on an extended stay (8 days) but only actually going to the parks for 3 days.

I kept debating what to do with stroller rental for this trip. We are driving and actually taking two cars since we have 6 in tow plus luggage for 8 days. I decided to buy a stroller via Amazon. I was planning on delivering it to the resorts (they would have charged a handling fee) which I was fine with. I decided to not take a chance since I did have the space to ship to me and make sure all is good prior to going. It would have been only a little more if I had rented through a company( I always add the insurance).

Some things to keep in mind for the bigger kids, the park strollers can get a little small for them. If you have a child 5&up, I would say, rent a double for the extra room they need. It always helps as well holding all the goodies you may buy.

I know my children have always preferred the park strollers since they are easier to get in/out of.
I like them too, however, I like saving $$ a little more.

Disney Stroller rental costs:
Single $15.00
Double $31.00
Sometimes (but not always) they discount the daily rate for extended day rentals.
KEEP your receipt and ask about it.

They do require a $100.00 deposit via Credit card when renting at Disney Springs but it is refunded upon return..

DID you know there is a great re-cycle/Swap Disney group page!
guests will swap out things during their trips and it is such a win win for many!!

The more you know!!!
