Journey of the Little Mermaid Ride Through

My thoughts on this attraction located at Magic Kingdom of Disney World and at Disney California Adventures.

Considered a 'dark ride' since the ride course is inside a building!
A fun ride that takes your through the story of The Little Mermaid!
Climb aboard the Clamobile, as it turns backwards, notice how you are slowly going 'under the sea'. During the ride get a glimpse into Ariel's World.  Watch her transition into a human all while the clamobile is coming back up from the sea! All these little touches that are created for each ride really adds to the story of the ride!

The queue for this attraction averages 50 minutes. Depending on crowd and time of day could be less or could be higher.
Best times to ride are first thing in the morning or about 2 hours prior to park closing times.
It is a great ride for a fast Pass however, I would not choose it unless your park touring plans involve small kids with no thrill rides. It is a great FP to snag when in the park!

The ride also tends to breakdown a good bit which is another good reason to hit it first thing in the morning!

No height requirement for this!

Very Cute easy ride and a must for any Ariel fans or for the little kids!

Few other side notes:
pretty much never a line during the fireworks.
Also is a great place to hang around when your little ones are scared of fireworks. Can still see some great firework views around the attraction!

At night it does get pretty dark in this area. To keep a better eye on your little one, place a glow in the dark bracelet, necklace or attachment to them so you can see them better.

virtual Run Disney review from Dealing with Disney

I decided to finally see what the virtual Disney Runs were all about. A friend of mine told me she signed up. She wanted to keep her momentum going which inspired me to look into as well. I have learned to love the Run Disney events. It appears they offer seasonal Virtual events options from the Run Disney website. (see link HERE ) There were 3 races available to choose from or a full circuit registration containing all 3 races. This came with a bonus medal as well.  Each event was $45.00 and the combined package was $145.00. This was more $$ obviously but ok, I can see they have added in the cost of the extra medal you earn. What does this get me or should I say, what do I get out of this event? I can see the Disney love of just doing it for Disney,  doing it for the medal or doing it to keep momentum of working towards goals. All options seemed very reasonable to me and got me excited, therefore I signed up for the gauntlet. My friend pointed out her whole family

Walt Disney World Halloween 2020 re-opening experiences by Dealing with Disney

My review from my latest Disney world experience.   This trip was definitely not one of my favorites! Before you read all my cons.. .Keep  in mind, I still enjoyed this trip.  The main point of this is to have proper expectation for your needs/stay. If you go into a park without proper expectation, it can really throw your trip OFF!  We had some great moments. We had some rest spots - drinks - treats which were nice.   One amazing PLUS: The security checks are a breeze now! No lie.. their big concern are umbrellas and water bottles (metal ones) tend to set off the machines. They ask for those to be pulled out of back packs but all other items you can walk through with!  I loved still having the time to appreciate the little things in the park that we take for granted. The craftsmanship in all the art around the park/architecture , the plant life every where!   I will be honest, part of the reason was due to my own family! Hey, I always like to keep It real-in perspective we shall say.
