Royal Court Royal Tea on DCL

Royal Court Royal Tea on the DCL

What is that?
Only the best experience you can imagine doing with your child onboard the Disney Cruise Ship!
I was extremely hesitant due to cost but oh my was it worth it.
It is for children 3 to 12 to have tea,  royal sweets and finger sandwiches. Your host is Lady Chamomile and Chef Brule who not only provide the treats but entertained with wonderful songs and cute humor. Their voices were amazing.
Three princesses will also come in to meet each child, sign an autograph and take a picture with.
At the end of the tea, you are led to have a photo op with all 3 princesses together. You will get this picture delivered to your stateroom later the same day. It is presented in a very nicely made album.
The finger foods were delectable as well as the desserts! The children are served a fruit punch while adults attending are served a tea of their choice from their selection. It was really fun to see all the wait staff pour out of the 'kitchen' to deliver the trays of treats! It was such an exciting experience. Me and my little one were in such awe of everything!
When you arrive, the children are presented with a tiara, Doll(cinderella), Music Box, Deluxe autograph memoir book, special princess pen, Necklace and bracelet. When the princesses each come in, they also present the child with another gift. (SPOILER ALERT) They each provide a charm to add to the bracelet or necklace.
Boys receive a slightly different gift; Duffy bear plush, sword, shield, cinch bag, pins & autograph book. (if you rather have Duffy or the alternative-just ask)
Wish I had thought to ask if could have switched out the Doll with the Bear. I didn't. It is so easy to get caught up in the moment. My little one hated the doll. lol She thought she was creepy.
This opportunity opens for bookings at same time as onboard activities/excursions for your cruise. You must be paid in full prior to any extra activity bookings. They charge to your stateroom which gets charged to card on file at end of cruise.
The cost for the child is $210.00 and adult is $69.
1 Adult must attend & pay with child.
When we arrived in our stateroom, we had a royal scroll waiting for us that provided a formal invitation to the Royal Tea. We were also asked who are favorite princess was. We stopped by guest services to provide that information prior to the reservation time. During the tea towards the end, they presented all the children with a cupcake that had a special decor of the princess selected.
I can't say enough about what an incredible experience this was. It was more than just tea and goodies. It was a full production that is now a cherished memory!
They do offer something very similar at Walt Disney Worlds grand Floridian Resort.

Enjoy the pictures and video clips
