The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique onboard the Disney Cruise lines

The Disney Cruise Lines offer Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Makeover with more options than you could ever get at the parks!!!! (Fantasy & Dream boats)

You can get First Mate, Pirate, Mermaid, Princess and even a star Wars makeover (depending on the sailing you book under)

We did the standard Princess Makeover although we have done Pirates in the past (for son and daughter)

It is always a fantastic experience! The children feel so special with all the extra attention with makeover to boot! How do you not love that?!

They do start around $19.00 for boys and $55.00 starting rate for girls. They can definitely escalate depending on the amazing options you could add to it from $100, $200 and even $750.00 (Yes, You read that correctly~$750.00)

Of course booking for this opens when your cruise registration opens. You must be paid in full and the opening registration depends on If you are a new cruiser or the Castaway Club level you are.

Previous sailings I have always booked around 4pm which seems to be a good time. You are dressed for some M&G opportunities that may come up, Dressed for Dinner and the shows.
You can also enjoy some pool time or possible excursion prior to being made-over.

This time, we selected a fairly early time (11am).
We had a Princess Ticket M&G event that I thought would be nice to be all dolled up for prior!
This was our Sea day. It was nice but the makeover was short lived!
We enjoyed the pools later after the event and lunch!
LOL, I could say we really lost our money on it but my daughter was thrilled with it! She didn't care she lost her hairdo from the pool activity, all she knew was she was having a ball. That is what it is about.

She had no interest in a dress. She is coming to the age of things being babyish.. AGHHH it is breaking my heart!! She loved being made over. She at first wanted the super cute shoes until she tried them on and hated how they felt! oh well. I should be thankful I didn't have to spend the extra $$$$$$!

The $750.00 package is gorgeous. The dress is comes with is Rapunzel's wedding gown. A full set of jewelry comes with it, Shoes, the makeover etc. The dress is really amazing, the detail and quality in it leaves you in awe. I still can't quite justify it ~not a $750.00 play dress...It was pretty cool looking though!

They did have a full Knight suit as well which was equally impressive. I did see a boy wearing it on our cruise. He did seem mighty proud!

With our Package which was crown package @ $64.95, We received a choice of hair-do: Full bun, top bun and rest down, or top bun half down and extra colored hair added. Color choices are brown, 'merida' color, pink, blonde. We chose the top bun and rest down. The extra hair just was not that pretty.  The bun is created with a hair donut. Very cute and really makes the bun look great!
We received face make-up, Nail painting, a Sash, a tote bag, Tiara and a special hair clip. You also get to keep the makeup, facial stickers and nail polish to use later. They do provide a hair wash and facial wipe to help clean your little one when ready to. We could have added more to the package such as a dress or accessories but we opted out.

It maybe took 30-40 minutes. It wasn't crowded. They have seats for family to sit at which is right behind the salon chair. There is not a lot of room for many family members however. It was just me and my princess doing it. I did see full families in there. There were no real issues in the space. If the chairs were all full, I could see a problem however. Only about half the salon chairs were being used at any time while there.

When they do the Pirate Makeovers which is set for Pirate night on the cruises, They change up the decor some in the Boutique. It is darker, Pirate covers are placed on the chairs, the Fairy Godmother's in training turn into buccaneers! It is very fun.
What you receive for the pirate makeover; Bandana, Sash saying Pirate League, Bag of Jewels, The gold coin necklace themed after the Pirate's of the Caribbean coin, Glam stickers (Pirate themed), Makeover and your choice of an outfit if you chose one.

I have not done the Star Wars Makeover but I did see one little girl dressed from it. She was adorable. It appeared they had special hair options for that.

One funny, My daughter was so proud of her backpack received. She kept saying she was so excited about all the 'free' things she received.
