Disney Cruise Line Midship Detective Agency

The best way to really familiarize yourself with the boat layout is to play Midship Detective agency!

This is very popular with the kids on the boat. I see many kids who are playing it on their own, playing with their family or teaming up with other players.

What is it?
It is a an interactive Game to play.

They have two kiosks to register as a player and select a game to play. One on deck 2 midship and the other on deck 5 midship (Hence the game name). When registering, you will get a badge! THe Badge is a card about postcard size.

You will use this badge to activate the interactive artwork located around the boat.

At each designated station, you will hold up the badge to activate the artwork. Follow the directions on the screen to help solve each case.

They have 3 games(cases) to select from. Don't worry, you can play each one and play multiple times.
1: Mickey and Pals find the lost art: GO with Mickey and his friends to find the stolen paintings, pick up clues along the way and solve the mystery of who did it.
2: Missing Puppies: Help! Someone has taken all the Dalmatian puppies. Go find the puppies and the clues along the way then solve the case!
3: Muppets: Someone stole all the props!!! Find the clues while finding the missing props, then identify the culprit.

Once you go through the cases and the clues, you will be asked to identify who you think the culprit is.

The Muppets case has some extra clue stations to use in order to solve the case. It is slightly trickier than the other cases. They are all fairly easy.

The interactive artwork is located at almost every floor level from forward, AFT and Midship locations.
Here is a link to show a glimpse into how played:

Don't worry if you are watching someone else use the interactive artwork while waiting to use it for yourself! They can have multiple 'culprits' depending on the assignment you were given. This makes it more entertaining and able to play multiple times to find the different culprits based on clues found. Example, once it was Maleficent who stole the puppies but then the next time it was Jafar!

We literally played these games 8 times on our last cruise! We got some exercise and family time out of it! We were hoping we would get Yzma as a villain but never did. We did watch someone else have her though!

Here is a clue to make the path slightly easier for you! It tells you to go to a set location to start the game, You don't have to! The most efficient path to take for starting your game is registering at the Kiosk on Deck 2. There is an interactive picture directly across from the Kiosk. It tells you to start on Deck 4, but you can just start at the one by the Kiosk. From there, move to deck 3 midship, then Deck 4 midship, move to forward of deck 4, keep going up to each next deck for all the forward interactive art locations until you reach deck 10, move to AFT and then go down decks to reach all the interactive art locations. You will end on the correct artwork that requests you to solve the case.  Easiest and most efficient path for the task.

Again, The Muppets does have two other locations; Pepe's Door and the Muppet Call Board.
I suggest taking a picture of these displays for easier reference especially if playing multiple times. Helps prevent back tracking. We would sit somewhere to view the picture image to help narrow down the potential suspect! My little girl though was just in awe over PePe's Door , we always had to go back to that door! It really is so cute, it even has it's own Cabin Card pad ID to open it. It doesn't open but the details are adorable.

You can use the same badge when registering for new games.
Once we actually grabbed two badges and did two challenges at once just to change things up a bit!

Little side note, On our cruise, the Deck 5 kiosk was having many issues. We had to just keep using Deck 2 which is what we preferred anyway. My main point is the system is not running smoothly, try another kiosk location.

  1. These cards observe what you do in the casino and lengthen particular presents to you relying on your activity. Offers embody bonuses like cash back, free meals and drinks, 우리카지노 and more. The cards price you nothing, while the rewards may be priceless. Warren Buffett has called gambling in general a "tax on stupidity", a cost that weighs significantly heavy in an endeavour so algorithmically stacked in opposition to its participants. But the addicts Schüll hung out with in Las Vegas seem to harbour few illusions about their chosen temptations.
