My Disney Experience Mobile Ordering update experience by Dealing with Disney

Image
Disney’s changes to their My Disney Experience Mobile ordering for Quick service Meals!   Everyone knows, I have always been a huge believer in using this APP tool! It was always a great time saver! See previous blog on it  HERE ! Video link below in text to show how APP experience works!   Some slight changes have been made since the re-opening however -nothing too major.   So—basically-all quick service meals must be ordered via the APP/mobile ordering. Even some Snack locations must utilize the Mobile order like Aloha Isle.   You can see all currently available/open quick service locations via the APP, mobile ordering tab.   Good news: They have made more options within APP. TO me it is user friendly but always really look through the choice selected before just adding as an order. Look at each option list under the entrĂ©e. You can enter more meal preferences than previously allowed. You can only look at an image of a menu item under the ‘order’ tab. If reviewing the menu, for some

EPCOT re-opening experience by Dealing with Disney

I was able to get a lot done even though it was limited hours. I was only here for a 4 day visit with two of those days being travel days. EPCOT  is a great park to visit especially while the crowds are down due to limited capacity. My day at EPCOT under recent re-opening guidelines.   It was a pretty low key day! Always keep in mind while reading—things are constantly changing!   I chose EPCOT as a day to visit with a travel day. In theory, it would have been best to plan to coincide with arrival day since this park is opened the latest.  My thought process on this; I wanted to maximize attraction experiences . The other parks just had more expected crowd per desired attractions so EPCOT matched my needs/time. I knew I could knock out what I wanted out of EPCOT within 4 hours and I did just that, actually 3 hr 45 min! I was able to head back home by 3pm for a 7 hour drive.  This was reasonable for my needs. I also enjoyed getting up later this day being our last; taking time to pack,

2020 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival experience by Dealing with Disney

The 2020 EPCOT food & Wine Festival What to expect?! A LOT less lines! Majority of Food Booths are walk ups. It was pretty surreal! No more Food & Wine passport books -which is a little sad. I am so old school! I like holding paper lol. Digital information is great but sometimes I just like to still flip a page. Another point, I don’t always like using up my battery to pull so much information on. The bright sun can also make it difficult to see my phone display—BUT that is just me ! There are Food Booth signs and the Festival signs everywhere. They each contain a QR code for scanning! This QR code will direct you to the proper site to see what all is being offered at festival; food booth menus, entertainment, Festival Merchandise and Fun for all Ages section. It is Easy to navigate the site. The site is also available on the My Disney Experience APP.   Just click through it to see what the Food Booths have to offer before you start your stroll. You can plan out your foods mu

Arrival and handling of Disney World Resort Parks re-openings by Dealing with Disney

Arriving  to the parks and what to expect since re-opening See pictures at end with captions. I also compiled some video clips to see how things look!--Keep in mind, I am not a pro! I wish!    Getting there via Disney transportation or Driving into the Parks –so many changes that affect almost every aspect of Disney. Let me say at the beginning—things are changing constantly—so  ALWAYS  double check.. also …sometimes the cast members can’t even keep up with the changes. Don’t get too frustrated at them since I am sure they get just as frustrated. What I did: checked surrounding signage and asked multiple people for a good understanding on what to expect.   I have noticed the hours to each park are staggered 1 hour off from opening to closing times. Each park is opened for 10 hours. AK: 8-6 MK: 9-7 HS: 10-8 EPCOT: 11-9  I believe the EPCOT hours being the latest are based on a general older crowd, Food and Wine festival can be enjoyed more as well for dinner options.   This is allowing
