Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party

 My review of the Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party located at Hollywood Studios. 
It was Fabulous & Well Worth it to me!
Party starts at 8:15pm. They comment about arriving on time, can't be late and be there 30 minutes early. 
It is ok if you are late! 
Party is located inside the Star Wars Launch Bay. 
While there, you can also meet the characters located there. Great thing about that is that practically no wait to do so!  

Chewbacca was 10 minutes (if that), BB8 was 5 minutes, the Jawas were walking around and Kylo Ren was available at 5 minutes. 

SO many dessert options, open bar, two ice cream bars and regular drinks; sodas, juices & coffees. 
Once you are done, they march you out with Storm Troopers leading the way! 
You are led to a preferred viewing area to see the Galactic Spectacular firework show. (you can leave earlier to see the pre show to this) 

You are given lanyards to keep along with a souvenir which is per person in the party. 
Our gifts were the Chewbacca mugs and Ty Fighter popcorn buckets. He only had 3 mugs, so he just gave those to us and then gave us each the fighter popcorn buckets as well--so we received extra gifts! Sweet!

Negative: you may become sick full! I didn't see anyone acting out from the open bar, no seats... boohoo. They had a couple of benches but that was it. The tables were to stand at. Most were high tables but some were lower for handicap access. 
Cast Members were extremely nice.  
Adults are $79. plus tax
Children are $45.00 plus tax (ages 3-9)

 UPDATE:
Assigned seats are coming which is a huge plus since it was a negative with me without. (no date announced yet)
You are also provided a time when to meet the characters! This is great since it will shorten the wait to meet them even more. I didn't have a wait personally during my experience but I have heard others complain about the wait. 

 This is how the Jingle Bell Jingle Jam operates so not sure why This one can't do the same! 





You can see the flooring space is just not a great layout. Limited tables and no chairs to sit and eat. I look forward to resting when I plan to indulge! 

Don't forget to TIP!! Drinks are free but tips are expected.

virtual Run Disney review from Dealing with Disney

I decided to finally see what the virtual Disney Runs were all about. A friend of mine told me she signed up. She wanted to keep her momentum going which inspired me to look into as well. I have learned to love the Run Disney events. It appears they offer seasonal Virtual events options from the Run Disney website. (see link HERE ) There were 3 races available to choose from or a full circuit registration containing all 3 races. This came with a bonus medal as well.  Each event was $45.00 and the combined package was $145.00. This was more $$ obviously but ok, I can see they have added in the cost of the extra medal you earn. What does this get me or should I say, what do I get out of this event? I can see the Disney love of just doing it for Disney,  doing it for the medal or doing it to keep momentum of working towards goals. All options seemed very reasonable to me and got me excited, therefore I signed up for the gauntlet. My friend pointed out her whole family

Walt Disney World Halloween 2020 re-opening experiences by Dealing with Disney

My review from my latest Disney world experience.   This trip was definitely not one of my favorites! Before you read all my cons.. .Keep  in mind, I still enjoyed this trip.  The main point of this is to have proper expectation for your needs/stay. If you go into a park without proper expectation, it can really throw your trip OFF!  We had some great moments. We had some rest spots - drinks - treats which were nice.   One amazing PLUS: The security checks are a breeze now! No lie.. their big concern are umbrellas and water bottles (metal ones) tend to set off the machines. They ask for those to be pulled out of back packs but all other items you can walk through with!  I loved still having the time to appreciate the little things in the park that we take for granted. The craftsmanship in all the art around the park/architecture , the plant life every where!   I will be honest, part of the reason was due to my own family! Hey, I always like to keep It real-in perspective we shall say.
