Day 4 of our Disney Western Caribbean cruise on the Fantasy

Day 4 of our Disney Western Caribbean cruise on the Fantasy

Our First Port excursion for this Cruise! A Dolphin encounter at George Town, Grand Cayman

We did get ready in advance for our excursion before heading out of cabin and to have breakfast.
We didn't want to feel rushed in going out for breakfast and then coming back to get ready only to head out again.

Had breakfast at Cabana's
After Breakfast we had time to kill before checking in for Port Excursion.
Checking our Navigator APP, we decided to meet Woody & Buzz!
It was perfect timing!

We then went to check in for our excursion!
The meeting place was located at the 'Tube' which is one of the entertainment rooms located at AFT

Here, they assign a leader to take the different excursion to where they need to be from disembarking and to dedicated shuttles at port.
Here, they also will offer items for sell that may help you on your excursion. I am the sucker that bought the cooler loaded with ice/bottled waters.

At this Port, a tender boat is required to escort guests from the ship to the port.
This is also great fun and a good way to see the ocean and marine life there! We saw so many colorful fish. Our tender bought captain through some fish food over to attract the fish! They were beautiful!

I am sure you can tip the tender boats, I did not. I didn't see anyone doing so BUT I know everyone is happy to take a tip.

At Port:
We were led over to our dedicated Shuttle. The shuttle ride was 40 minutes to our destination.

For this Port Adventure we chose the Grand Cayman Dolphin Encounter.  Check out my link for full review.

It was not quite what I pictured.

Once on board, we had lunch
Grabbed some Soft Serve ice cream! Grabbed some drinks (used the coffee lid for our regular drink cups)
We went to go see a movie, Christopher Robin and I loved that one

Went back to cabin and cleaned up for Dinner.

Tonight was Animators Palate again for second round in rotation BUT the best! This go we were able to experience the magic of of our animation. Check out a short clip of the show here!

We were provided paper placemats to draw a character in. (No words or numbers allowed in drawing)
We were provided 4 colored markers to use.
The drawings were then handed over to our wait staff.
Midway through our meal all the screens became our easel for the clever magic they have!

They animated our characters and paraded them on the display screens! see video here!

After Dinner, we were exhausted!

Two of us headed to cabin to rest remainder of night and the other two went on the the Aladdin Play.
We also had a very early excursion the next morning! I am not an early bird!
