Day 5 Western Caribbean Fantasy Disney Cruise

Day 5 Adventure from our Western Caribbean Disney Cruise on the Fantasy

Falmouth Jamaica

We awoke at 2:20am for a ‘brightstar’. This was a loud announcements throughout entire boat and in cabins. They stated Cabin # that alert was designated for. After speaking with a cast member, they explained there was a medical emergency and they call ‘teams’ such as the ‘brightstar’ to attend to the medical alert. Luckily, all was alright with the cabin.
It was a little alarming to be woken up and to a grip of what was going on.

We had a 7:30am Excursion to meet for.
We grabbed a banana on the way and ate while at our check in time.

After our long adventure, we made it back to the port. We did decide to look through the shops at the port. It is a very nice clean port and no hustling like I have seen at other places. It is advisable to stay in the safe areas of the port or designated tourist areas. They also have a Margeritaville if you want to enjoy a special lunch at this port. We found a gorgeous wood carved station here. I bought a turtle bowl and my son picked out a wooden crab! Pretty cheap considering other wood carving souvenirs I have seen at other ports.

We did opt to eat our free lunch options on the boat.

Went back to the room to get cleaned up! This was very much needed.

Time for pool fun! We spent about two hours at the pool and slides!

Back to Cabin for full showers and clean up!!

I went to go put a placeholder for a future cruise. Located on Deck 4.
This allows us to book a cruise with a discount. A placeholder is only $250.00  to hold a future cruise. You also still get the perks of booking while on board which is 10% off your future cruise plus an onboard credit. The on board credit varies depending on length of stay.

We went back to room and watched movie on demand back in room. My son decided he wanted to watch all the Pirates of Caribbean movies! I was up for the challenge!

Off For Dinner, went to the shops and then off to watch the special entertainment.

Marcus Monroe who is a comedian and juggler. I didn’t have high expectations for the show but I should have. It was fabulous! We greatly enjoyed it. It was even more amazing to see how well he did considering how much motion the boat had during our entire sailing.
Here is a link to his youtube My whole family loved it!

After the show, me and hubs had a date night!!
The kids hung out with grandparents that were traveling with us. They were able to spend the night in their room.
We went and tried the gorgeous Skyline bar. It was very dark in there but beautiful! We enjoyed some Martinis and one on one time!
It was nice to be able to go out and have a drink without the worry of driving! Everything is just so contained on the ship yet you can still feel like you are out for a true evening.
