Meeting Characters at Universal Studios FL

Meeting Characters at Universal Studios FL is SOOOO easy compared to Disney World!

Remember the good old days when you could just finding a roaming character at a Disney World park and interact with them? Probably not since that has not been done in over 20 years when the Fad of which Character you got to meet over some other Certified Disney Fanatic took off!

Now usually 30 minute waits are the norm to meeting a character!

Hop over to Universal and usually can meet about 3 characters within that time frame!
Of course some are more popular than others and can get a little wait on them but not as extreme as Disney's must dos.

You can usually find Scooby and the gang roaming around, Pus'n'Boots and many others hanging around.

We saw them but my little one actually declined to go meet several ones we saw! I was bummed but didn't argue~ It was August and it was HOT!

The only ones she really wanted to meet was the Simpson's and the Penguins from Madagascar.
The Simpson's are a popular lot to meet and already had their line closed when we came upon them. I didn't plan or count on meeting characters while touring Universal. We wanted this park tour to be more leisurely. We did what we wanted when we came upon it.  I asked when their next time would be, was given a 45 minute return time. This was great. I talked my little one into meeting Spongebob, we hit the penguins, came back to wait out the Simpson's but by the time we came back, Sideshow Bob was about to see guests! I had to push her to see him so I could see him! He does his M&G same place as the Simpson's. We hit him up, rested in the shade and then got first in line to meet the Simpson's Family. In and out with them, so easy!!

When meeting characters, find when they are going to be there. Start with the character you most want to see, arrive for the queue about 20-30 min prior to their start time in meeting guests. This helps you get first in line so you can get in and out fairly quickly.
GO to your next most important and then see the other characters between attractions. Keeps you from running around the park, keeps plan in place and you guarantee doing the most important goals you have for your day!

these guys were tucked behind a building and easy to miss. Absolutely NO line to meet them.

Third in line to meet him! In and out but also had our time with him!

First in line to meet him!

have fun with your surroundings while waiting for a M&G! so much to do around you!

Got everything done and was first in line to meet this crew! they can actually build a 45 min+ line.
