Amorette's Cake Making experience

Cake making experience at Amorette's located at Disney Springs of Walt Disney World Resorts
What a fun event and something out of the norm to experience while at Disney!

The class started promptly at
We were treated to tasty beverages including coffee, teas and even mimosas!!
Please & Thank you!

The class is limited to 14 guests per day, up to two guests per reservation.
Main reason, it is held at the location itself, 6 tables are set up with up to two guests per table.

A quick history of Amorette's is provided.
They then went into how the cakes are made which is fascinating!
It is a 3 day process in making these adorable Mickey cakes!!
You get to learn the relationship between Amorette's and Disney. Only certain cake designs are allowed due to color approvals!

So what do you do in this class?
Well. You’re really not making a cake. Since the cakes do take the 3 days to make, they are pre-made and waiting for you to decorate essentially.

You can’t just decorate any which way, it’s a specific design that is offered during the class. It is typically the Minnie or Mickey design.
The pieces are already laid out for you as well. You do have to paint the pieces; two ears, two buttons and a tail.
You also have a precut roll of fondant to wrap around base.
We poured the flange over it for 3 fulls coats. Stuck the pieces in and it was a masterpiece!!

It was a unique experience. I’m definitely glad I was able to partake in it
Cost is a little much but worth it for the one time experience. It is For a party of two. Classes book out extremely quick due to limited spots held. The reservations don't typically open at 6 month mark. Mainly, it is best to start looking at the dates to open a little over 4 months.
Classes are held Sundays through Thursdays. They start at 9am,

We could have met them hold cake for us while we shopped but we took our to go. It was wrapped in such a cute box similar to an old fashioned hat box.
But wait, there’s more!!
They also provided thank you gifts; a box assorted pastel colored macaroons and a box of chocolate chip cookies(3 big round ones). They were delicious!! Everything was delicious!!

The pastry place itself was so unique. They used a dumb waiter since all their ovens were located on second floor!
We did buy two additional desserts that were extremely rich, well made and yummy!

The experience lasts up to 90 minutes
$149.00 for two guests plus tax
The reservation holds your time but you pay at time of.
Guests must be 10&up
