Race through New York attraction of Universal Studios FL review

I finally managed to experience the Race Through New York attraction available at Universal Studios FL... Not impressed.
It is a Basic Simulator Ride and not even that fun/ny..
The ride has a 40" height requirement.
Unlike many of the other attractions at Universal, This attraction has a space for you to store your belongings(under the seat)

The best part of this attraction is the queue, here you can gaze on memorabilia from all the Late Night Hosts! It is pretty neat to look back at the classics! When you enter the waiting area, you are handed 'backstage cards'. You are able to lounge around in the waiting room until your card is called.

The Queue uses the Universal APP to secure a wait time or your Express Pass Card. This APP allows a one time Express access which is free to all who utilize it. Just make sure you download it to your smart phone! APP link
This is a pretty neat option to get ahead of the line. We arrived at opening time of 9am. The park did open at 8am however to on site guests. Even with the hour delay in arrival, there was no wait for this attraction. We could have used the APP but they only access this option if the crowds warrant it.

What to expect
You enter a theater and take a seat. It is a fairly large seating section.. slightly larger than an average ball field bleacher section, if that gives a perspective to size. The chairs are not the most comfortable.
The entire seating section rises and moves along with the 3D screen to create the simulation.
Essentially, you race Jimmy through New York. You see the classic NewYork Monuments as well as classic characters from the show.

I just had higher hopes for it which made it not to impressive for me. If you rode the Minion ride, it is very similar in style except the seating section is much larger..

The Fast & The Furious attraction also uses the Express access via APP. I am sure Universal will start utilizing this APP/feature for more attractions over time. It is a nice feature to use.

Not a must do in my opinion!
