Voo Doo Doughnuts at City Walk

If you ever have a hankering for a fresh doughnut, VooDoo Doughnuts are excellent.

This cool little place is located on right side of City walk ~ right side before bridge that takes you over to the Universal Studios Park entrance.

It is pretty small so the line can easily come out the door. Don't let this fool you however, it moved fairly quick for us.

They have so many fun flavors! The flavors are very strong, so be warned!

One of us picked the Grape Ape doughnut but could barely eat it since it was a bit sour but really strong grape.
I had the Portland Cream which was extremely rich and extremely yummy. Has the chocolate icing and yellow custard inside.

We also had the 'eight mile' which is covered with mini M&Ms.. the little one got that but was not very impressed with it. The icing was not good to her.

The dough was super soft in each doughnut. They are all pretty large, Not the Homer Simpson large but close enough.

The others that we bought were the basic chocolate icing on an old fashioned doughnut.

The store's architecture and decor is fabulous, art inspired. There are glass stained windows depicting founders of the company!

This makes a great breakfast on the way into the parks. Average price is around $1.75 each. Not  bad on the budget at all! May not be the healthiest BUT this is a vacation, right?!

There are lots of menus available to look through prior to ordering as well as many display cases to see what is what. Not a bad price, if you are picking one that could be questionable, grab a basic for a back up! two people could also share one? depending on how possessive one is over their food!

virtual Run Disney review from Dealing with Disney

I decided to finally see what the virtual Disney Runs were all about. A friend of mine told me she signed up. She wanted to keep her momentum going which inspired me to look into as well. I have learned to love the Run Disney events. It appears they offer seasonal Virtual events options from the Run Disney website. (see link HERE ) There were 3 races available to choose from or a full circuit registration containing all 3 races. This came with a bonus medal as well.  Each event was $45.00 and the combined package was $145.00. This was more $$ obviously but ok, I can see they have added in the cost of the extra medal you earn. What does this get me or should I say, what do I get out of this event? I can see the Disney love of just doing it for Disney,  doing it for the medal or doing it to keep momentum of working towards goals. All options seemed very reasonable to me and got me excited, therefore I signed up for the gauntlet. My friend pointed out her whole family

Walt Disney World Halloween 2020 re-opening experiences by Dealing with Disney

My review from my latest Disney world experience.   This trip was definitely not one of my favorites! Before you read all my cons.. .Keep  in mind, I still enjoyed this trip.  The main point of this is to have proper expectation for your needs/stay. If you go into a park without proper expectation, it can really throw your trip OFF!  We had some great moments. We had some rest spots - drinks - treats which were nice.   One amazing PLUS: The security checks are a breeze now! No lie.. their big concern are umbrellas and water bottles (metal ones) tend to set off the machines. They ask for those to be pulled out of back packs but all other items you can walk through with!  I loved still having the time to appreciate the little things in the park that we take for granted. The craftsmanship in all the art around the park/architecture , the plant life every where!   I will be honest, part of the reason was due to my own family! Hey, I always like to keep It real-in perspective we shall say.
