The Polite Pig, an experience indeed

Luckily I had to friends recent the Polite Pig located at Disney Springs and provided great reviews!

It sounds like a must do!!

This dining location is a great place to use your quick service dining plan to get the most bang for your buck! You can also select an alcoholic beverage at this location as your drink under your dining plan.

Located at Disney Springs, Town Center section right by the Orange Parking garage.

It is a little on the pricey side if paying out of pocket but from the reviews, it sounds worth it!

"We shared the Butcher Board. We selected the mac & cheese and waffle fries as our two side items. The waffle fries are standard Disney waffle fries with a powder BBQ flavoring. I didn't try the Chicken but Brad did and he enjoyed it. My favorite was the BBQ cheddar sausage but we both agreed the meats were all delicious. I am not a huge fan of pork but the flavor of the pork shoulder made me a fan. The brisket was so tender we had a hard tie eating it because it was falling apart. The cornbread had a bit of a kick but I felt the jalapeño was just right. Neither of us like the Disney cole slaw so.....The mac & cheese was creamy and yummy!!"

"I think if you pick the right spots the QS locations at Disney Springs are one of the best. Plus the best value for your credit. I ate at Polite Pig. Had the half a chicken, sweet potato tots and a vodka lemonade. I forgot they had the grapefruit margarita there otherwise I would have gotten that. I enjoyed the meal. Nice break from the fries and stuff at most of the parks. Overall the meal was a bit salty. The vodka lemonade was not my favorite. But it looked nice in the tall glass. "

This is definitely an alternative to 'park' food, relaxed atmosphere and good food!

virtual Run Disney review from Dealing with Disney

I decided to finally see what the virtual Disney Runs were all about. A friend of mine told me she signed up. She wanted to keep her momentum going which inspired me to look into as well. I have learned to love the Run Disney events. It appears they offer seasonal Virtual events options from the Run Disney website. (see link HERE ) There were 3 races available to choose from or a full circuit registration containing all 3 races. This came with a bonus medal as well.  Each event was $45.00 and the combined package was $145.00. This was more $$ obviously but ok, I can see they have added in the cost of the extra medal you earn. What does this get me or should I say, what do I get out of this event? I can see the Disney love of just doing it for Disney,  doing it for the medal or doing it to keep momentum of working towards goals. All options seemed very reasonable to me and got me excited, therefore I signed up for the gauntlet. My friend pointed out her whole family

Walt Disney World Halloween 2020 re-opening experiences by Dealing with Disney

My review from my latest Disney world experience.   This trip was definitely not one of my favorites! Before you read all my cons.. .Keep  in mind, I still enjoyed this trip.  The main point of this is to have proper expectation for your needs/stay. If you go into a park without proper expectation, it can really throw your trip OFF!  We had some great moments. We had some rest spots - drinks - treats which were nice.   One amazing PLUS: The security checks are a breeze now! No lie.. their big concern are umbrellas and water bottles (metal ones) tend to set off the machines. They ask for those to be pulled out of back packs but all other items you can walk through with!  I loved still having the time to appreciate the little things in the park that we take for granted. The craftsmanship in all the art around the park/architecture , the plant life every where!   I will be honest, part of the reason was due to my own family! Hey, I always like to keep It real-in perspective we shall say.
