Up Close with Rhinos tour at Animal Kingdom

This is the tour for you!!

I finally was able to experience this tour offered at Animal Kingdom and thoroughly enjoyed it!

The tour is offered at 11am most days for all ages 4 & up

Tour lasts 1 hour and is $40.00 per person. Really a great deal for a tour/Disney experience.
Of course, pass holders do get 15% off!!

You start off checking in at the tour desk located by Kilimanjaro Safari attraction.
You go back stage to hop on a shuttle that takes you to the Rhino housing.

At the Rhino house is where the real tour starts. You learn so many things about them such as the breeds, their habitat, how endangered they are!!!, their care and needs. It is fascinating. Especially for those that love wildlife.

Unfortunately since everything on this tour is backstage, no pictures are allowed which is a bummer!!!!
Blah.

Towards end of tour, you are able to touch one of their rhinos. It is absolutely amazing to be able to touch such an amazing animal! They are truly one of my favorites.

I have the tour booked to do again but with taking one of the kiddos this go around!

The other great incentive in partaking in one of their offered tours, the proceeds go back into programs that support wildlife!

closed toe shoes recommended but not a must

virtual Run Disney review from Dealing with Disney

I decided to finally see what the virtual Disney Runs were all about. A friend of mine told me she signed up. She wanted to keep her momentum going which inspired me to look into as well. I have learned to love the Run Disney events. It appears they offer seasonal Virtual events options from the Run Disney website. (see link HERE ) There were 3 races available to choose from or a full circuit registration containing all 3 races. This came with a bonus medal as well.  Each event was $45.00 and the combined package was $145.00. This was more $$ obviously but ok, I can see they have added in the cost of the extra medal you earn. What does this get me or should I say, what do I get out of this event? I can see the Disney love of just doing it for Disney,  doing it for the medal or doing it to keep momentum of working towards goals. Walt Disney World Halloween 2020 re-opening experiences by Dealing with Disney

My review from my latest Disney world experience.   This trip was definitely not one of my favorites! Before you read all my cons.. .Keep  in mind, I still enjoyed this trip.  The main point of this is to have proper expectation for your needs/stay. If you go into a park without proper expectation, it can really throw your trip OFF!  We had some great moments. We had some rest spots - drinks - treats which were nice.   One amazing PLUS: The security checks are a breeze now! No lie.. their big concern are umbrellas and water bottles (metal ones) tend to set off the machines. They ask for those to be pulled out of back packs but all other items you can walk through with!  I loved still having the time to appreciate the little things in the park that we take for granted. The craftsmanship in all the art around the park/architecture , the plant life every where!   I will be honest, part of the reason was due to my own family!
