SOOOO! What I learned from last trip is that all Values and Moderate resorts are now participating in the Gift Card offer in lieu of Mousekeeping! SO, how to get this? You do need to check in at guest relations upon arrival. They offered it to me, but you may have to request it. Every Castmember is different (and that's ok lol) The gift card I received was only $20.00 for a 3 night stay. It was well worth taking advantage of. What this means? You will not receive any room service such as making the beds, throwing out the trash or cleaning of the room. BUT you can still request towels and toiletry items such as shampoos, lotions, soaps or even toilet paper depending on how long you are staying and how many is in your party. Remy's Ratatouille Hide & Squeak review I tried the Remy's Food & Wine festival scavenger hunt and it was fun! It does help excite the kids while touring the countries find those mischievous Remy's hiding! It does cost $6.99 for the Scavenger Map! Once you find a Remy with the designated food item, place the sticker in the location found at. Once done, take your map to the International Gate way center and redeem it for souvenir cup! There are 4 designs to choose from. If you just want the cup, simply buy the map and immediately exchange for the cup! You can keep the map as a souvenir as well. They will stamp the back of the map to 'redeem'. Now.... I was told by one castmember at kiosk when I purchased the map that I HAD to complete the quest prior to redeeming. So, as many of you know, I LOVE using the quick service pre-order option within the My Disney Experience APP! BUT what do you do if there is a problem??? Well, I know! Not that I wanted to experience it but things do happen! I pre-ordered quick service for Casey Jr's. I went in to pick it up but I never got it!? Wait, what??? How does this happen? I have learned over the years a valuable lesson, Nothing is 100%, not even technology! As I was waiting, another guest was waiting for his. After about 10 minutes, we noticed we were not being called and a few order numbers after our numbers were being delved out. We asked the Cast Members but they didn't seem to know what to do. They only knew one thing, hand out the food coming out. Not one person knew how to find the solution or look up our orders to check on. I couldn't wait too long since I was restricted on my time. It pays off to keep an eye on what's available under the My Disney Experience account! Candy Sushi! In all fairness, my awesome friend found this little doozy for me before I spied it! This was a free activity offered and sponsored by Adventures by Disney. It is a free event with limited space. Reservations are required to participate but anyone can observe. Credit was needed to hold reservation. Few lucky kids were able to participate during event I attended since there were a couple of 'no shows' and yes, they will technically be charged the $10.00 per person charge. The Candy Sushi experience offered during the Food & Wine festival was delightful! We were provided 3 recipes along with the ingredients. (Yeah, more free candy!) We did create two of the recipes! My kids really enjoyed the experience and also enjoyed the candy! We each agreed we preferred the candy by itself! haha! We are simple folk! Mama Melrose located in Hollywood Studios. currently hidden in the far corner of the park back past Muppets where nothing else is due to all the construction going on. It was fantastic! 2019 Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party: Basically, new stage shows AND a new projection fireworks show! This is a must see, a must. It was absolutely fanciful, lively, impressive and delightful! There are always some minor changes. Jack and Sally met at the Town Square by Mickey this year instead of at the Gazebo. New desserts to be had!! Most of the strategy is still in place as far as park touring and enjoying the special event. They did have a new Descendents Dance party at Cosmic Rays. Biggest touring tip: Mark your Must dos and do them first, move on to your 'would like to do' after that and then go with the flow of what delights you. The park time will fly by and you won't get to do everything!!! Not the way they keep adding to the parties anyway! The costumes are a huge deal now!
