POPCORN at DIsney!

National Popcorn day is January 19th!!!

SO go get your popcorn on!!!

Popcorn at Disney, it is a must. The tantalizing aroma sucks you in. Perfect to snack on throughout the day!

Popcorn is more than just 'popcorn' while at the parks.

IT has become a very popular way of also obtaining a cool and handy souvenir bucket!

Not just buckets either!! Trust me, they have some pretty crazy and fun designs depending on which bucket you go with!  I personally may be addicted to them. ugh! another thing to collect.. It could be worse! At least it is reasonable priced and you still get popcorn!

You can buy a regular carton of popcorn for about $5
OR a Disney themed refillable souvenir bucket for around $12. These are cylinder shaped. Hold quite a bit. Come with a pretty air tight lid and handy handle.
The refill cost is $2. currently.. Not bad!
The theming wrap typically is changed with the seasons.

TIP: get a 'D' clasp ring --fairly big enough to either clip to your stroller or normal size for a backpack.. this way you can clip that bucket via handle right to the stroller or bag! Nice!!!

SO.. They also have specialty themed popcorn buckets.
They always seem to release a NEW bucket every 6 months or so. Especially for the holidays, they always release a holiday themed bucket. These are my FAV!!!

Past ones include: Vampire Mickey, Santa Martian, Christmas sweater Pluto, Zero's Doghouse, Mine cart, Darth Vader Head, Cinderella's Coach.. and on & on!

Even those you can refill at any of the parks. Sometimes, not often but a special bucket can be released and is NOT refillable at another park. Watch out for the signs when purchasing. They usually will tell you but, every one can make a mistake and not inform properly. We are human, mostly anyway! haha
Another note to this, you can also always ask!! Cast Members have been known to help a guest out! There are some sticklers too.

**Side note: If you DON'T want to dirty a special bucket, ask if you can have your popcorn in a regular container. They are very used to this request.

So, what can you do with these buckets once home?

SO MANY THINGS:

my child loves to play with them.
Some she plays with.
Some I have on display.
Some I used to for our family movie nights!
Some I have actually stored food in, mostly dip type foods. Less room than a bowl in the fridge and that lid seal is pretty good!
I have also used them to carry toys as well from one family house to another.
It is a bucket, it comes in handy!

SO where do you get all the popcorn at the parks??
It is really hard NOT to find a popcorn cart!
