Disney World A park touring day outside the norm by Dealing with Disney

A different type of Disney experience: We were headed for an impromptu trip with all my kids; 19, 14, 7! A rare treat when the kids start getting older. I am blessed they all still love Disney though. So what type of trip would be best for us? The trip was in the middle of summer (Mid July), we had kids who had different preferences for thrill or regular attractions and vast age ranges. We also had limited days. 4 days total. Two days are spent mostly driving (6-7 hours). We chose a moderate resort: this provided the room we needed for our party of 5 and comfort level we wanted. We decided to save a little with moderate instead of deluxe to use funds for experiences. We decided to do after hour event parties the entire trip and a tour! We figured we could hang around resort, enjoying the amenities during day. This would allow us to sleep in a tad from late nights. We would not have to deal with horrible heat of the summer.
