Dealing with Disney

My review from visiting Disney's Saratoga Springs resort. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. Ok. Yes. The room was lovely. Overall, definitely a least favorite resort of mine. Sofa bed is not comfy.  All other beds were perfect.  The theming is nice but it just lacked the Disney feel a little too much for me. I could have easily been in a regular condo.  The resort ground is pretty expanded. I wouldn't recommend it if you didn't have your own car or unprepared to utilize Uber. We had to drive to carriage house for any needs there.  I'm used to walking to main house from rooms but this was just too much for me. I normally never use my car even though I drive down 90% of time when vacationing. We were placed in the Carrousel wing. I believe we were placed there because we did have a car. Western Caribbean cruise on Disney Fantasy Day 6 Star Wars Days at Sea We decided to take it easy this day! Even though we just woke up when we woke up, we still were up and out of the cabin by 8:45am Today was Star Wars Day at Sea and the ship had a makeover which was so fun! We had our Special event tickets to meet Star War characters. Those we booked out when our cruise activity booking window opened pre-cruise. We did grab a quick bite to eat prior to our first character ticket event. When I booked, I selected our character M&G 30 min apart which is perfect timing to get it all done without too much gap time between. 9am R2D2 & C3PO.. arrived at 9:30am 9:30am Darth Vader, arrived at 9:20am 10am Chewbacca, arrived at 9:50am Done and Done!! It was perfect! Was so much fun meeting these great characters especially the androids! How often is that!!! They had fun back drops for the photo ops as well. My review of Disney's Old Key West Resort. I really enjoyed this resort, it is one of Disney's Vacation Club resorts but any guest can book in it.  It had a pretty laid back atmosphere with great scenic views. I loved having the boat to take us directly to Disney Springs. I think I just love the boat rides though. Our little balcony was pretty relaxing, giving us a nice view of the golf course. The resort was pretty calm, not many guests around which was nice.  Many people dislike this resort since it is not directly next to any of the parks and is fairly large resort grounds. I didn't feel it was a long distance when we traveled by bus. We did request and was a room close enough to the Main guest house and bus stop which worked out great for us. I could see how some may not love it if you have to take internal shuttle from one part of resort to the other. It could waste some time.
